34th IDS was held in 2011, Cologne. It is the worlds most important and top trading exhibition and a forum for decision makers from dental practices, dental labs, the specialist dental trade, the dental industry and from research and development. Almost 118,000 visitors from 148 countries obtain information about the latest products and innovations from 1,954 exhibitors that come from 58 countries around the globe. In 2011, the 66% of exhibitors and 42% of visitors were from abroad. 2011 schedule was planned to arrange separate summits for dentists, so where they were able to discuss the most critical issues with their colleagues.
