Quit smoking: smoking is hazardous in every way and this erases the white color of your teeth as well. The color that the smoke gives your teeth is really weird because the discoloration is not very amusing. Quitting smoking can stop the discoloration to worsen.

Sweets: the intake of candies and sweets also make your teeth discolor. The sweet remains in your teeth until you brush and till then the teeth are affected. You should decrease the intake of sweets.

Brush regularly: brushing your teeth regularly gives you great relief and this can never make your teeth discolor. Brushing and flossing regularly can prevent tooth discoloration.

You can also prevent tooth discoloration by taking the foods that are good for whitening teeth or the products that are made to whiten teeth. Such as strawberry is a great tooth whitener it never discolors your teeth and makes them white. Other than natural home remedies there are chemicals and medicines that are made for the prevention of tooth discoloration. Diseases also leave stains because of the intake of medicines. You can get back your original color by brushing. Do not apply any home remedy that can cost you smile. Before thinking of any home remedy to prevent tooth discoloration you should look about it and know that this will not give any stain on your teeth. Some home remedies also leave stains of their own color other than just whitening your teeth. For avoiding mistakes like these you should know which home remedy is good for you and it will not cost you your smile. You can consult your dentist before taking any actions and have all the know-how about preventions from tooth discoloration.

Some products even promote a whiter teeth after a prolonged use.
